There are no age restrictions for jobs in the Sales & Marketing industry, but we recommend starting at level 2 or 3, which are entry level apprenticeship positions so you can really build your knowledge in this industry.

Brand Manager

Myth busting

Brand Managers and Marketing Managers have very similar job roles, but brand managers tend to focus on a brands overall appeal and the way the public view a brand, whereas marketing managers work on gaining sales through promoting products and services. Often in smaller businesses these job roles will cross over and in larger businesses you will work very closely together. Brand managers must have great attention to detail and be meticulous at checking everything that goes out to the public is the best it can be. The great thing about being a brand manager is that there are lots of opportunities to grow in your role and you will be expected to develop multiple skills across the marketing field. You will also get to liaise with lots of other departments to bring campaigns to life so it’s important that you are a very clear communicator if you want to take on this role.

- Looking at new properties, collecting information and booking in a photographer to take photos for the listing.
- Talking to sellers and landlords about property features and pricing.
